Note: According to the efficacy and adverse reactions of the patient's medication, please adjust the dosage according to the doctor's advice.
【 Adverse reactions 】 Pepper is an edible seasoning with minimal toxicity. While exerting its anti epileptic effect, patients who took erlesimide tablets did not experience any significant mental or neurological adverse reactions. A small number of patients may have mild or transient adverse reactions, such as fatigue. After long-term clinical observation, no severe allergic reactions have been observed. Taking irinotemide tablets, there is no strong local irritation like piperine (a few patients may experience stomach pain or hemorrhoids when using piperine). However, clinical observations have not shown any abnormal effects on liver, kidney, and hematopoietic function.
【 Taboo 】 It is prohibited for those who are allergic to this product or any of its ingredients.
【 Precautions 】 1. During medication, regular blood routine and liver and kidney function checks should be conducted. Generally, a re examination is conducted every three months. When discontinuing this medication, the dosage should be gradually reduced until discontinuation to avoid an increase in the frequency of seizures. 3. When using this product to replace other antiepileptic drugs for treatment, it should be gradually replaced and not changed suddenly. 4. Patients with liver and kidney damage should follow medical advice and adjust the dosage accordingly. 5. Women should use it with caution during pregnancy and lactation. 6. Keep out of reach and sight of children. 7. Patients receiving treatment with this product should avoid drinking alcohol. 8. This product can sometimes cause fatigue, and should not be used to drive a car or engage in other dangerous activities. 【 Pharmacological Effects 】 Pharmacological Toxicity: Pepper is a plant with petal flowers, and its fruit is commonly used as medicine. Under the guidance of the Department of Pharmacy and the Department of Pharmacology at Beijing Medical University, Peking University Pharmaceutical has demonstrated through component analysis and pharmacological experiments that the main component of pepper, piperine, has anticonvulsant effects. Animal experiments have shown that even at doses less than TD50, piperine can effectively counteract seizures caused by electroconvulsive shock, pentylenetetrazole, tetroxen, and glutamate in rats and mice, and can reduce animal mortality. The mechanism of anticonvulsant effect of piperine is mainly related to increasing the content of 5-HT in the brain, reducing the content of glutamate and aspartic acid, and blocking the kainic acid (KA) - receptor. Pharmacological experiments have found that it is excreted quickly in animals and has lower toxicity. Pharmacokinetics: After oral administration, the absorption of this product is relatively rapid. The bioavailability (F) is 93.9%. The elimination in plasma is rapid and rapidly distributes in other tissues. After metabolism in the liver, it cannot be detected in urine. Its concentration ratio in plasma and brain tissue is constant, which can reflect the anti epileptic effect.
